At his most recent rally, former President Donald Trump threw several haymakers at the crowd, giving a glimpse into what it might be like to have him back in the White House.
He talked about federal employees who were dismissed or compelled to leave because they refused to comply with President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate.
“Next year, a Republican Congress should pass a bill rehiring every single member of the military who was cruelly and wrongfully terminated by Joe Biden and his ridiculous COVID mandate,” he said to the crowd at his Save America rally in Conroe, Texas, on Saturday. “And force the Pentagon to give these patriots an apology and full back pay.”
In August, the Biden administration declared that immunizations will be required for military personnel. The Pentagon announced in December that 98 percent of active-duty personnel had received the vaccine, but that those who did not would face consequences.
According to NPR, military branches began dismissing service members that month. The Marine Corps has discharged 334 personnel, the Air Force has discharged 111, and the Navy has discharged 23 people, according to the Associated Press. No one has been discharged from the Army as a result of the vaccine.
For more than one item he said during the rally, the former president grabbed headlines and made Democrats’ heads spin.
In another portion of his address, he stated he might be able to pardon some of the persons participating in the January 6, 2021 disturbance at the Capitol.
“If I run, and if I win, we will treat those people from January 6 fairly. We will treat them fairly,” he said as the crowd cheered.
“If that requires pardons, we will give them pardons, because they are being treated so unfairly,” the former president pledged.
“This hasn’t happened to all of the other atrocities that took place recently, what that un-select committee is doing and what the people are doing who are running those prisons — it’s a disgrace,” he argued.
“We will treat them fairly and we will take care of the people of this country,” he said.
Then he praised someone who is despised by the Democrats and their media allies.
He enlisted the help of MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, one of his most enthusiastic fans.
According to Mediaite, the CEO has been examined and his items have been pulled from stores because of his views on the 2020 presidential election, and such sacrifices have not gone unnoticed by the 45th President of the United States.
